In 2012, I spend 3 weeks in Egypt. I visited all major sights from Alexandria to Abu Simbel. It was an exciting trip, full of amazing experiences and adventures. I loved cycling around Luxor and meeting sunrise over Valley of the Kings, watching night show at Abu Simbel and sunset from Al-Azhar park in Cairo.
My favorite memory from that trip was meeting the sunrise in the White Desert. I have visited many beautiful places, but the White Desert is one of the most surreal and breathtaking places I have ever visited.

Share on FacebookTeo, this is the closest place to my heart. It's magical and really surreal. This is the word for it. I went there 4 times.
Sorry but this does not even come close to the surreal vistas in the White Pockets area of the Vermilion cliffs in northern Arizona, US. Would like to show some pictures but there is no upload ability here.
But you missed the night photos. The most incredible sky I have ever seen.
I agree! But I had not trypod, so could not take night photos :( .. Next time I hope I will :)
