I think the biggest problem is the service industry in the USA does not pay their employees a proper wage in the first instance. This results in the workers heavily relying on tips to subsidise their income. In European countries employees are paid a minimum wage (ok, this isn’t always as much as it could be) and are less affected by what tips they receive. As well as shitty customers, employers should also take more responsibility for the income their staff receives.

Check the restaurant cameras, take their pictures and put it all over the internet.

I will never show up to a restaurant that close to closing. An hour, yes if I know I’m going to be in and out but not 30 min. And this was a huge A hole move to not leave anything at all.

Let's be honest, this is not the customer's problem. I don't know why americans(and some other countries) change the laws so that servers actually have a salary.
