i keep one of those old fashioned headache type screw cap ice bags in the freezer full of these. always a ready ice pack when i need it, doesn't melt and need emptying/drying when they melt so it never gets musty and mildewy. just throw the whole thing back in the freezer. except mine are fruit shaped "ice cubes" from the dollar store.
