Baby Dressed Up As A Lion’s Cub Meets A Real Lion, And The Big Cat Is Confused

An awww-dorable video shows a toddler dressed up as a lion cub interacting with a big cat through the safety of a window. The scene was captured at Zoo Atlanta in the US. The toddler’s godfather Cami Fanning posted the video and it went viral. He writes: “My close friend and I took our 11 month old godson to Zoo Atlanta for a little god family outing… Our godson’s name is Aryeh, which means lion in Hebrew, so his mom packed his lion costume.”

“The lions were immediately interested in our little lion cub, and it wasn’t long before they couldn’t stand their curiosity any longer and came right up to the glass.” The godfather added: “Aryeh was completely unfazed and interacted with the lions for a few minutes… It was incredible! Definitely a great memory from our first little godfamily outing.”

Adorable! But animals have feelings too! I hope there will be freedom for this lion along with other animals in zoos. There should be more sanctuaries. I hope hes happy in the meantime.

The majority of animals in zoos can never survive in the wild. By wishing them "freedom" you're saying you want them to die. Zoos take in animals that are severely injured, were raised in captivity, or otherwise unable to fend for themselves.

Poor lion is trying to remember when he got so drunk that he had sex with a human...

Do you really think the big cat wanted to cuddle the little human?

Tasting comes to mind xD although, even thought it's not an actual lion, the lion could maybe fall for it, I've seen something like this bef

This is why if I ever have a child I will make them wear fuzzy outfits. The cuteness! And yes, I feel sorry for the lions too, but I try to think if the good things that zoos can do.

I'm torn on zoos. Healthy zoos can be a great place for kids to get their first empathy for animals. That interaction can change lives.

The lions likely wanted to kill/eat the kid thinking it was a strange male lion in their territory. Nothing cute about idiot parents. And those whining about zoos - zoos SAVE animals. So shut up with your ignorance.

I wonder what us humans would feel like locked up in a zoo and ogled at by animals??...we never cease to annoy!
