Please read your history. She’s descended in a direct line from George I who inherited the British throne from his mother Sophia of Hanover. She was next in line after Anne (no children survived her) as she was a descendant of Henry VII’s eldest daughter who married into the Hanoverian Dynasty. She also had Danish ancestry thanks to her great grandmother. So even though her direct line goes back to Hanover, it’s still linked to England.
