But here's something you don't know - he travels with a doll and uses hotel toilet paper, tissues and tape to make these couture confections in his hotel room.

It looks like a fishtail braid. I'm going to try this now.
This is very similar to my daughters Mermaid wedding dress, Barbie isn't curvy enough for this style.
Seriously I think that barbies aren't just for little girls, they can be a form of art.
I'd like to see her try and walk in this, very wow at the bottom!
These dresses are stunning! I still struggle with making a boat or hat out of paper 😮
I used to have an older Barbie like her. She was my Grandma's and I was given the task of caring for her. I think my daughter has her tucked away safely now. What a beauty!
First one that doesn't look genuinely wearable (scaled up, of course). Three steps forward...faceplant. Beautiful though!
I used to make dresses out of tissues for my barbies when I was a kid. Granted, I wasn't as talented, but it was a lot of fun !
Me too! I used to also make skin tight dresses and skirts out of small water balloons. God, I miss being a child in the 80s.
Load More Replies...These are all so cool. Just look at how much detail there is in each one! And to think they're made out of tissue paper.. Great Job! :D
Check out my new post. He also does it with paper!
Load More Replies...When I was 9 we did this with much less skill. love the flash back to the day!
He has quite an imagination. I have 3 Barbie's, and he has inspired me to try this. IMG_201804...970098.jpg
...Wish they could be made into real clothes. They designs are so wonderful!
If you're not already a fashion designer as a profession, perhaps you should seriously consider it!! Amazing
u are raphael of the 21 century i think u should be called the prince of desginers
I wonder if barbie company eventually find out about this gem and employ him for their PR dept.?
I agree they look great. But can we just send them to the BAU at Quantic for their opinion?
These are pretty...however, all I can think is, "That's about an hour's worth of tissue for my seasonal allergy kid!"
Think of it this way, it is an art form to make dresses like that and they probably don't have the time or the money to make full size dresses so why not have barbies as your models? And tp if folded right is a very beautiful and smooth white paper so why not?
