while not condoning it, there are some valid reason that end up just being dealt with in all the wrong ways; most guys get their girlfriends/fiances pregnant and feel trapped, not being a man about it they decide to try and swing a double life or as it was put 'have an adventure' ... and then there are the high-maintenance girls out there that most guys just can't say no to for one reason, benefit or another, once they get their hands on a guy he really is trapped, leaving the guy looking for any - even short term - relief or escape. as I said, not condoning anything, but a lot of guys are wimps in these situations, and seem to have forgotten how to make proper decisions - the rest just want their cake and eat it too o_0

I'm not saying cheating is right, it never is, but I feel like especially a lot of American women tend to "force" men into marrying them. You see all these couple who've been together for 3 years and the woman is like "come on, Mike, when are you going to propose?" bla bla bla. Is this only in the movies or is it actually like that lol? In a lot of cases, intentionally spreading disease is covered under assault laws (ranging from misdemeanor simple assault to felony aggravated assault (or GBH for British legal system) depending on the impact the disease could be expected to have on the victim).

At one point knowingly passing certain ones was a crime. Last I heard (I’m US) it was being removed as a punishable offense. And it only applied to HIV/AIDS. Now that HIV is “curable” it for some reason lead to changing laws. As for the other STDs.... no. It’s a violation of medical privacy (as they aren’t considered public health risks and are not reported). I agree that it isn’t right that people can do this. I’ve read too many cases of STDs being intentionally and maliciously passed to others.
