    I got caught in the middle of a river in a kayak in a swarm of horseflies. I had to bail out of the kayak and stay with just my face and hand above water, holding onto the kayak, until I got away from them.

    Here I am, just happy that apparently the mosquitoes around here forgot that they're supposed to be more stealthy. I'd rather have the dumb ones than a million itchy bites any day. March flies of the other hand are asshats.

    Omg no wonder it hurt so bad when I got bit by one. I had shorts on and cowboy boots and it got stuck down in my boot on my shin. It got infected and turned into cellulitis. Once you get it one, you are more likely to get it again, which I did. A honey bee sting through my jeans and a cat bite (which is obviously more likely to cause an infection). Horse fly bite infection is when I am allergic to the antibiotic bactrim.
