12 Of The Funniest Reactions To Netflix’s Unfortunate Mistake With Marie Kondo’s Pic – Even Chrissy Teigen Responds

This year Netflix introduced Marie Kondo and her “The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up” to the unread masses (her book came out in 2010 people), but due to a glitch or bored hacker, her recent Netflix series promo pic makes the “sparking joy” method seem a bit aggressive.

In the show, Kondo comes to the homes of hopeless packrats to teach her organization method inspired by Shintoism. The energetic organizer transforms each space with the adage of keeping only items that bring joy, which made her Netflix shows’ ‘new promo’ photo fail all the more hysterical.

In a confused tweet, etiquette expert William Hanson tweeted out a photo of the Marie Kondo “Tidying Up” home screen wondering if perhaps her house cleaning tactics had intensified. Well, of course, Twitter went crazy with funny captions at the hilarious juxtaposition of sweet, cheery, 4’7″ Marie and the image of a gunman that appeared on her homepage, even grabbing the attention of one of our favorite tweeting celebs. Scroll down below to see the funny fail and the mayhem that ensued.

People were quick to laugh at the mistake

I don't even care if it's a marketing strategy from Netflix. It sparks joy!

I really hope it's someone at Netflix doing that on purpose. Also - I'm all over that Clifford episode! LOL

Even by mistake, this turns out to be a great advertisement strategy for netflix movies/series.

People now can't keep from scrolling Netflix for more glitches they can tweet. Well done, Netflix!

Well, at least this image is fair to Japanese housewives and shows how they feel about their useless and sexist husbands... Before the downvotes, go to Japan and look at the average and ideal family. The husband works day and night to provide for the family. The wife take care of the home and look after the children. It's changing slowly, but not that much. For example, my sister in law works now... AND take care of the home and look after the children. Such progress! My brother in law doesn't do a thing at home. And it's perfectly normal. Personally, I think that it's modern slavery...

I have seen this glitch several times on Netflix but sadly none of those have been as funny as these. :)

In my honest and insignificant opinion, for me this it looks like this is a way of marketing, everybody is talking about it.
