I have one of these in my yard, too, and also Rose of Sharon, in various colors, like in the post below this one. Each summer I have hundreds of japanese beetles devour these blooms, though. I hate to use bug dust on them, but I've had to do that in the past. Do you have probs with those beetles, too? Any suggestions? thanx

Enjoy seeing everyones amazing flowers & plants here. I missed seeing this article, its been a hectic week, but now it says it's 'closed'. Next time I'll post pics of some of my flowers & plants, some in my yard, some in pots. If anyone has info on how to safely get rid of the dreaded Japanese Beetles, they've arrived back in our area, devouring every bloom they land on. I hate to use bug dust, any ideas? They love white & yellow blooms especially, but this yr. are eating my pink & purple flowers, too. :-(
