When asked how he started the community, Klsi832 said that there were already two similar subreddits that he liked, “Ten and Twentyyearsago.” After finding out that “Thirty Years Ago” was available, he started running it.

I saw Sister Act and Honey I blew up the baby at the movies and it’s wild to think the cinema probably looked like this. I thought it was so modern at the time. It had a Baskin Robins and a pick n mix sweet bar (candy bar). Good times with my best pal Jodie. We aren’t close now but she’s doing well and I’m so glad. Such good memories.
