Yeah, I don’t understand why this is downvoted either… do people not think women’s rights are in jeopardy? I mean, if they don’t live in the US maybe nothing has changed in their world so this doesn’t impact them. Being American, Roe v Wade being overturned is terrifying to me.

They've been trying to overturn that every year since it happened, honestly. I got concerned when I started seeing Supreme Court Justices refer to witches in their rulings, watching people who harass women become president, supreme court justices, politicians, etc. It used to be if we caught this behavior there were impeachments and oustings. Now we get these guys like Matt Gaetz who was investigated for trafficking who wins his election by a landslide. Nathan Larson, who was running for congress in 2017 and was pro-incest, pedophilia, and rape, advocated legalization of child pornography, tying women up to do as men please, and a repeal of the 1994 Violence Against Women Act stating, "We need to switch to a system that classifies women as property, initially of their fathers and later of their husbands." And eventually was arrested for child porn but before he died who actually got votes in his district. The people voting for him are still out there. And I feel like it's just getting worse, not better.

Not if me and mine have anything to do with it. Women worked hard for those rights. It was barely a century ago they got the right to vote in the USA. Women have had the right to vote for less than HALF the age of the country. Think about that.

It's because they didn't want to do public service or register for draft. If women were good with the responsibilities that came with voting, they would have had the right to vote when the constitution was drafted...

Everyone's rights need more protection. Men dont realize that women's rights affect them too. Time to stop ignoring it depending what country you are in.

They don't realize because they're not thinking. And *sigh* yes, that lovely statement of "not all" men were like this, no gd s**t they aren't. Not the point. Enough of them are literally seeing an inch from their face they're not seeing the wild nailed brick spiraling towards their faces at 90mh. That's the problem here. Too many people in power and influence have zero foresight.

the more we stand together and support each other, instead of going against each other, the more the world changes for us. Not just in U.S. or UK, but everywhere. Sex trafficking, slave labor, child marriage, medical neglect, sexual / physical / emotional / mental abuses. We are extremely strong in numbers. It's what has to happen. Individuals are not heard. But the many are felt deep in the center of social change.

I agree with you, we have the numbers to make the change we want. The problem is, "the powers that be" have the technology and know how to dupe the masses into both demanding and paying for their own demise. If anyone disagrees, just look at the way they forced a vaccine on 8 billion people, with WAY MORE THAN HALF of those people demanding a jab that was never fully tested. We have the numbers, but they know far more about manipulation than the average lay person. To change things from the top down, we must start at the bottom. Look at the number of women demanding the right to terminate the life of the unborn. They have been duped by a catch phrase "My body, my choice". What about the fetus??? "Their body, my choice"??? Loss of critical thinking, by design.

In the UK there are gangs of thugs that regularly hijack Feminist meetings and rallies. Usually, the police just stand around and allow the intimidation to happen. As a man and human being I am appalled by this. As a society we should not tolerate this kind of behaviour.

Sounds like our police. Oh lol no I stand corrected. If that happened they'd just attack the wrong side a d blame them for everything that happened. And to be clear, pigs and police are two different breeds. I speak of course of our oinkers. The useless stupid racist ones.

Lots of downvotes. Do a section of people not want to admit what they're doing is messed up? Or believe that what they're doing is taking away a woman's right? Seems like a bunch of denial votes to me, not downvotes. For everyone else with a brain, this scares me. Biologically I'm still a woman. And yes Karen's and Kens, they are in fact, picking at us very very slowly right back to the early 1900s where everyone's barefoot and pregnant and may only get an allowance to spend on herself if the almighty husband so chooses. I'm sorry, but that's exactly where they're trying to send us back to. One right at a time. Please don't be silent about this. Don't stop fighting. This is putrid. In the end we're all humans, my vagina isn't about to dictate my use in life.

I'm all for rights, but roe v Wade had to do with states rights, not women's rights. In the states where it was legal it still was legal. There are some states that didn't want it legal. That's all. And please don't down vote me just because your don't like what I said. Down voting can get one banned.

How is a women's right over her body and her own health dictated by where she lives? It's a human right not a state's right. If the state said women shouldn't vote, would that make it ok to remove that right? Human rights are inalienable.

Women's rights are actually on the upward trend! Look at how Saudi Arabia is liberating their women (slowly so they don't end up with a LGBTQ+ disaster that the West ended up with) In Iran, women are demanding their rights back with much bloodshed.

When men are forced to have vasectomies to prevent unwanted pregnancies, then we will have equality. If men don't like that, they should support women's right to choose. Women don't get pregnant spontaneously.

Women's rights will always be an issue, it's just the nature of what that currently entails in todays generation. Abortion rights, gender rights, workplace. Women are always fighting for something, it never lets up. I have a huge problem with the 'woke' movement at the moment trying to actively cancel out what it even means to be a biological woman. But, they won't win. You cannot silence so many who have suffered so much. You can only push women so far and they will turn into millions of lionesses who will never be subjugated.

Maybe people believe women are fighting for their equal rights more actively than ever. And rightly so. But I assume it's not phasing out. Therefore the downvotes. Not a downvote to equal rights.

Yup. When you can't define a woman and even locker rooms where you change clothes aren't protected. When girl are getting raped in bathrooms by boys in skirts who obviously didn't feel that much like a woman today. When female prisoners are getting pretty other "female" prioners. When woman of the year awards go to people with xy chromosomes and and a penis. My rights are disappearing. I don't need the extra special right to murder my child.

Face it folks womens rights are disappearing one at a time becamen in DC dont like that women have gained power. They want women at home raising babies so the can be considered bread winners again. They dont like women bosses. The dont know how women's bodies function. They dont know the dangers that can happen to women's bodies if anything isnt working properly. Before any laws are voted on or considered men and women in Congress should take sex education. My opinions

If men got pregnant this would not be a controversial issue. They would never even briefly consider letting the state control their bodies! This is not about "babies", or when life begins(hello Hershell). This is rich people requiring poor people to produce cannon fodder.

Women's rights have ALWAYS been in jeopardy. Spousal abuse doesn't always make the news, but the (domestic and global) statistics are there for anyone who wants to go looking for the information. If it seems our rights are increasingly in jeopardy, think about all the other issues we're dealing with on a cultural basis. Women's rights are old hat, compared to gender bias, colour bias .... We still and always will choose our battles. We don't stop speaking up and showing up for those which matter to us as individuals.

Women want different things. Republicans have desirable and undesirable beliefs as much as Democrats. The reality is that there is growing support of independent parties and more unaffiliated voters. Reasonable people have mixed views. They're not pure Republicans or pure Democrats.

Women's rights seem to focus mostly on abortion...which I find a complex topic that involves mother, father, and child. I rather focus on human trafficking which mostly victimizes women and children. There isn't an attack or serious push against other women's rights besides abortion (a human rights issue for both mother and unborn), so I don't believe this nonsense about erasing women's rights. It's fear mongering.

Just a friendly reminder. Your wonderful biden is ripping women's rights away...roe vs wade he could have stopped it but didn't. And FYI the government is trying to strip every citizens rights away, not just women so get off your high horse and research everyone running for office even down to the mayor of your town. Don't listen to your peers on Facebook, propaganda adds and actually do hard research on these idiots you want to run our country. So I support reproductive rights and I want for women to have equal opportunities to men, but this is just sensationalism. Do the authors believe that it's only a matter of time before the 19th amendment is rescinded, or until the U.S. starts looking like Gilead? They really think that every right that women have is, to quote the title, "going to completely disappear"? Voters in California, Michigan, and Vermont passed measures protecting reproductive rights, while Voters in Kentucky and Montana rejected proposals that would have further restricted them. Were it not for the Dobs decision the prophesized red wave probably would have come. The people came out in no small part to oppose these attacks on reproductive rights. Is it so hard to look at the evidence and have faith that the people, not the government but the voting public, has some sensible morals?

Roe v Wade was never a right. Please 1 person show me in the CONSTITUTION, where its listed. That's how the Supreme Court works. Interpreting actual law, as well as falsely passed one, it also reviews those. Women's actual rights and progress are being hindered by the left. You're now less of a woman than a man who says they're a woman. You gave more power to a man while claiming you want equality. Women are more successful than men, own more property, more doctors, more college graduates, more high school graduates, less homeless, less in prison, less likely to be a victim of crime, aren't subject to the draft rule, less suicides, etc. Please tell me which specific rights you don't have in this country? There's more you can do than I can do in this country and you're given opportunities I'm not allowed to have. How's that for equality. There's specific programs designed to give you government contracts, free funds, just because you're a woman and I can't. Get over yourselves

How can people not think that women's rights won't be around in the next year or so? Did they miss the last year? Coma, maybe? Or, were men the one's who voted and didn't understand the topic? How does that go...I didn't want to get involved because it wasn't about me? Well, just know you are next since you didn't stand up for equal rights for your "fellow" human being!! It's only a matter of time before you can't do what you want because some person with power decides he doesn't like it! What GENDER is the majority of Congress? What gender is the majority of SPOTUS? What's the next move? Don't wait around to find out. BE ACTIVE! NOT REACTIVE ONLY!

Abortion is not a right according to our constitution ever. Your body your right ends when there's another body in it. Their body their right applies. Of course if the mother's life is in jeopardy that's a poor point to use. Abortion is overused. There a preparation It's called contraception. Use it. Let's not use the old rape argument either. Most abortions are because people find pregnancy inconvenient. People are less human now than ever.

How much child support does a woman have to pay if she don't want the baby? Abortion, no child support. adoption, no child support. Men pay or go to jail no matter what. You want rights? How bout you share some with us. We don't even have a right to our children unless a court says so.. please explain how men have more reproductive rights than women. Until then, sit down, hands down.

Oh get over yourselves. All the Supreme Court did was send the issue back to the states. Want to fight for women's rights??? Fight for the rights of the girls murdered in the womb... they don't even get to see the light of day. Murder is the true injustice. It isn't just a clump of cells. It is a human being with as much right to life as the two human beings that made him or her. I support a woman's right to choose: 1. Abstinence, 2. Birth control, 3. Adoption, 4. Motherhood! Anything else is murder.

I'm going to get massively downvoted for this but a woman in Iran was recently murdered by police because a little bit of her hair was showing, yet pumpkin spice latte drinking women in the states don't think they have women's rights. Yes the abortion thing is f****d but come on now that doesn't mean you don't have any rights, you're not getting murdered by police for showing a bit of hair and the police then saying you had a "heart attack". You vote, you work, you have the same rights as men. Grow up and get some f*****g perspective.

Sleepflower, I absolutely see your point. Yes women in the western world have a lot more equal rights than women in other parts of the world, and that should be acknowledged. The bad part here, and I think that's the point of the post, is that in these "good areas" equal rights have been fought for, there is still a lot that is not really equal, and now there are massive political tendencies to stop equality, to put women back in a place of lesser rights. Worldwide the position of women is getting worse instead of better!

Woman can do what they want with their bodies, but they've no right to murder an individual human life growing inside them. Men and women know what to do if they don't want a child before it's conceived. We are all abortion survivors.

Women DO have rights. They have a LOT of rights. Here American women are complaining about not having any rights, think about the women in some other countries who can't even step out of their house without a male escort? Who can't even get an education just because they're female? What an ungrateful, entitled people.

23 Things That Are Slowly Phasing Out In 2022 And Are Probably Going To Completely Disappear Social acceptance for cigarette smoking in public. Like the old-fashioned light-them-on-fire tobacco smokes.

I go all over for work, and it’s a noticeable event if someone smells like smoke. No buildings seem to have smoking areas anymore, even the butt cans are rare sightings. Can you even imagine someone lighting up *inside a restaurant*? People still do it, but they almost have to hide it, only smoking at home or in their cars or vaping while out and about. When you come out of a store and you smell cigarette smoke, it’s noticeable because it’s not always there. The difference from 10 years ago is huge. 20 years ago this would be unimaginable.

I am severely asthmatic and if I have to walk through some employee's cigarette smoke to enter a business, I turn around and take my business elsewhere. Not worth it.

And I hope they continue to fall in popularity because honestly they weren’t even popular to begin with, just a fad peddled by the rich.

Just stayed in this thing, - hotel they are calling it. Didn't have to take the garbage out, strip the room, pay a "cleaning" fee or feed anyone's cat. Hope they catch on.

23 Things That Are Slowly Phasing Out In 2022 And Are Probably Going To Completely Disappear Leisure time. Unless you're wealthy it's shocking to have any time off. Monday I had my first sick day in over a year and I was told I still need to make up my hours even if it means working overtime.

Even when you aren't working, shifts are so long it feels like you're losing your whole day and your days off are the only chance you have to catch up on cleaning and doctor's appointments and maintaining your life that it's hard to find the time to do any leisure activities. Just watching TV or making a meal feels like such a time investment because there's so little time to waste.

I still buy DVDs/BluRays. I like actually owning the thing and being able to reliably access it for the next 20-50 years. Only series and movies I've rewatched at least once and want to watch again though.

23 Things That Are Slowly Phasing Out In 2022 And Are Probably Going To Completely Disappear Cash… 2022 has seen a sharp rise in card only transactions

23 Things That Are Slowly Phasing Out In 2022 And Are Probably Going To Completely Disappear Honestly? Cheap and neat finds at antique/thrift stores. Most places upcharge outrageous amounts for the items they get in, especially if it's a legitimate antique or unique item. On top of that, a lot of what's being sold now are nicknacks and decorative items that were made cheap at the time, and no one wants anymore.

I think we're also phasing out of the cheap product phase for everything, or at least slowing down. More and more people are choosing to repurpose their items or try and fix them, rather than just tossing and buying something new. Repurposing is even easier than ever thanks to the internet, it's no longer a struggle to figure out how to fix s**t and to buy missing parts and tools that you'd need to get the job done.

My local op shop has two buildings, one is the usual cheap things and cheap clothes and the other is the higher end stuff like vintage clothes or collectibles. It works well.

23 Things That Are Slowly Phasing Out In 2022 And Are Probably Going To Completely Disappear I think the straw has broken the camel's back on laughtrack sitcoms; How I Met your Father is the first one ive seen in years to use one and its... not good

    Its jarring to see

So id say those are finally phasing out, with the norm being laughteack free funnies (which have existed for years now ofc, but are becoming the standard)

Yup, Sitcoms are fading in general. Or are already completely gone. At least good ones. Maybe because you can't have dark-humored, sarcastic content anymore. Imagine "Married with Children" going on air nowadays. My favorite Sitcom...
