Last year, a video went viral featuring a performer named Michael 'Chili Dawg' Castleberry showcasing his unique guitar skill—using a beer bottle as a slide. The caption read, "The European mind cannot comprehend this." People quickly began attaching the phrase to other things that they believed were foreign to the Old Continent, and thus, a new meme was born.

Now, Europeans and their allies from around the world are playfully flipping the script to get back at Uncle Sam — "The American mind cannot comprehend this" pictures are meant to single out what the United States is lacking.

In the '80s early '90s was common in Germany too, at least in the former East-Germany. As well as in most post-soviet countries. In some of them bagged-milk or choco-milk or caramel-milk heavy cream is still there.

I certainly can't comprehend keeping milk in a container that can't be sealed.

There's a thin notch on the pitcher near the corner that is cut off. You just push the corner into the notch and it nicely seals the bag.

My auntie and uncle live in Ontario and hate milk in a bag.

Life long Ontarian here, and I've moved away from bagged milk. I prefer the resealable cartons.

Another one that's not true. Cool that milk is still sold that way in Canada, but that's how millions of Americans got their milk from milk men in the 60's and 70's.

The milkman delivered our milk in glass bottles. I've never seen plastic bag milk in real life. American here.

We still have bagged milk in Spain but it has a much shorter shelf life than the one in the carton and it's impractical, though better tasting

I have bought bagged milk in Denmark in recent years and simply transfered to 1 liter glass bottles from IKEA. It is much easier to pour from a glass bottle and you can better see if the milk has gone bad.

I would never get a bag of milk home without poking a hole in it somehow

Keep it. Cardboard is easier to recycle than plastic, and you can't get the missing kid's faces to print as easily on a bag.

Waxed cardboard like what milk cartons are made of can't be recycled.

I hear they’re getting rid of bagged milk in Ontario which will cause a rebellion!

I'll admit it's baffling. We saw rows of bagged milk in the cooler in Ontario, and could not figure out how it would be poured. A New York relative explained that there was a decanter to hold and serve the milk. Still baffles me!

I grew up in Lansing, Michigan (late 60's, early 70's). Quality Dairy did this, not sure if they still do.

India has had bagged milk for decades, why would it be exclusive to places in Canada!

UK supermarkets bought it in years ago (I used to work in Sainsbury's) but it wasn't a big success so they stopped selling it.
