Here it is! My first photo shoot in 2020! I guess I wanted to set the bar high for myself this year. I’ve done many themed shoots over the years but this might be my favorite so far.

Over Halloween I was tagged in a photo of Cole as Edward & being the huge Edward Scissorhands fan that I am I knew he was perfect for this concept so I asked his mom if we could do a proper shoot & she obliged. I had the idea of adding Winona Ryders character the day before the shoot so I put out a last minute casting call & found little Aubree.

I am a firm believer that when working with kids they will determine if the photos come out good or not. Everything else can be perfect but if they are too shy or too tired or too hungry or throwing a tantrum it just won’t work. These 2 were wonderful to work with and completely nailed it in my opinion all while posing in the cold wind and rain. They deserve all the credit for these. My MUA Jordan did an amazing job on hair and makeup and Coles mom made his costume from scratch 🤯🤩 Please let Everyone know how they did. Cole & Aubree will see the comments 🙂

I’m a published Portland-based Portrait, fashion, & Boudoir photographer. I’m best known for my unique use of natural light & creative cinematic concepts. My work has been featured in Vogue, as well as local news and international news. The most important element of my shoots is my connection with my subjects and my ability to make anyone feel comfortable in front of the lens.
