I was diagnosed with mental disorders - depression and ADHD - in December of 2016. My therapist suggested me to try journaling to help me live with depression. I hate journaling.
Though I've been drawing since I was a child, I had fallen out of the habit. This webcomic was my compromise between drawing and journaling my mental health; it helped me record how I was feeling at the time and work through some of the darkness.
At first, it was scary to put my deepest thoughts and fears out into comic strips, but the responses and messages of support from people made me realize how much it was needed to talk about mental problems, and show what it can really be like.
My comics cover a variety of topics, like love, depression, self-reflection, and anxiety.
After about 6 months of making comics, I decided to quit my job and freelance part-time so that I could dedicate more time to making and promoting Just Peachy. In the future, I hope to make a book and raise awareness about mental illnesses and my personal struggle with depression.

I can totally relate to this... :s I used to be an extroverted, bright girl when I was younger and now I'm totally the opposite of that. Makes me want to go back to the past sometimes...
As someone who is facing the demons of depression, this hits home. Better focus on self-compassion and worry less about self-esteem, for example. They're connected, though, and the first will influence the second if understood properly.
I find that my motivation is usually hanging out with my procrastination.
i sleep about 3-4 and have to force myself to go back to sleep as i know it isnt healthy in the end i get about 6 hour which still isnt healthy but its the most i can manage
As I was reading this, it dawned on me that I woke up this morning feeling the same way. It's been hard feeling that everything is fine. I also suffer from anxiety and depression. Nice to know I'm not the only one who thinks like that. Thank you for your comics.
I always had that doubt about Mogwais. If you can't feed them after midnight, at what time is it okay to start feeding them again? After sunrise?
sometimes we have to grab a step ladder or get a friend to help us but in the end we found a solution een if we needed someone else
I could really relate to most of these comics, even if they weren't funny. Thank you for sharing these and stay strong
Yeah funny isn't really my thing lol.

I think I upvoted almost every one of these. I really identify with them. Thanks for sharing!
The best advice my psychologist gave me in terms of a horrible assault I experienced, was that you never “get over it.” It’s a part of your life now, there’s no pretending that such trauma never happened, but you can MOVE FORWARD from it. I believe that’s what can really keep us going and not giving up. Very lovely and too the point art. Thankyou for sharing.
I have frequent bouts of depression and suffer from PTSD that stem from incidents from my childhood. For many of us who suffer through these conditions it takes a lot just to make it through the day and not get swallowed within a mire of darkness. I’d like for those who battle those conditions to receive this message ~ I salute those who manage to still get back into the swing of things after depression hits them hard. There isn't enough recognition given to those people who know that at some point they may lose interest and motivation again, but push themselves to do stuff anyway. You were fighting a daily battle with your own thoughts and you're still managing to come out on top. So whether it's depression or a major crisis you are pushing through, just know this... You are BADASS.. YOU are brave as f*ck. YOU ARE STRONGER THAN YOU KNOW. Just keep on keeping on. Day by day. Moment by moment. Don’t give up. YOU GOT THIS.
Its a serious problem that some people dont understand, lets hope some people read this&have a lightbulb moment
I love these so much. There all so creative and I relate to the majority of them. I hope you'll be okay... anyway I thank thee kindly for the inspiration!
I love it, so related. My favorite is the one you are hugging depression and hoping you could treat yourself differently, i feel i'm on that stage.
And a few are kind of funny, really love it😁
