Town halls, by definition, are open to anyone who lives in the town. They aren’t meant to be political venues but are meant for those of the community to voice any issues they have. The fact that politicians have turned these community meetings into political events is the problem. The crisis is that they’ve now taken it upon themselves to physically remove people who speak up and disagree with them using private security that they have no right to use. Blatant first amendment violation along with with what should be a*****t since these are supposed to be public meetings and the “private” security company has no right to be there.

More likely it will be three; there will be a 'core' claiming to be the original US, of mostly east-coast and a few more central states, there will be a f*****t nation calling itself the People's Republic of Great America, consisting of mostly the Southern states from Florida to Texas, and maybe as far north as Kansas, and then the West Coast and central heartland, and a great deal of the North, will finally grow into a proper social democracy. Then, after about ten years, the fascists will go to war with the moderates, and lose badly.

It’ll be north and south again, at least from the east coast going to maybe the Mississippi River. The western states are probably red, and then there’s the blue west coast. I’m in Chicago. We’re a sanctuary city and Trump hates us. Much like in the first Civil War, the slave states have nothing but agriculture. The free states have infrastructure and manufacturing, plus Europe would support us.
