James Bond, the timeless symbol of British sophistication, gadgetry, and unwavering resolve, has captured the imagination of audiences worldwide. The role itself has grown to become a cherished mantle in the entertainment industry, symbolizing both timeless charm and intense action. As Daniel Craig hangs up his tuxedo, it's time for another transition in the world of 007, sparking wide speculation and immense public anticipation.

The end of an era for Craig, who played the iconic character for 15 years, has led to the stirring question: Who will be the next James Bond?

The international community has witnessed and actively participated in this process of transition before, and it has become an event in itself. Much like the Olympic torch passing from hand to hand, so does the identity of 007, renewing our fascination with the character each time. The race is on, the bets are high, and the candidates... quite intriguing.

You may remember my AI-based photography projects "As If Nothing Happened", "Thisness" and "Young Age(d)" in which I digitally depict some iconic social figures. This time, I depict the James Bond candidates in action to see who better fits the character.

Check my Instagram for other projects.

Looking forward to your comments and suggestions.

I have the strangest crush on Tom Hiddleston. I personally think he would make a brilliant Bond after winning multiple accolades for his role in the Night Manager. He definitely has a wonderful charisma to him.

James Bond is a character that I have followed and admired since the Pierce Brosnan era. (Of course, I've seen all the Bond movies.) I think there are many actors who could play James Bond, and I follow with interest the news and comparisons about it. While dreaming about this subject, I integrate the different aspects of the actors with the character.

After I started working with AI, I thought of producing a project on this, including some actors in my mind, and when I saw that I was able to do this in software with convincing photorealism, I produced the works you see. The characters you see represent my dream combination of the specific actor and Bond's features I've seen before. For example, when I think of Idris Elba, I imagine Bond's technological and innovative side, while Taron Egerton's or Henry Cavill's features are more traditional.

My 2nd choice. His Happy Valley bad guy showed he can do nasty and he can act.

While making this list, I started with the British actors I have already watched. Although many of the actors on the list were deemed fit for this role by fans (and of course, me), I also included some other actors with significant talent. Apart from James Bond, there are incredible roles and actors who play these roles wonderfully.

Hardy is a terrific actor, but in that image he just doesn’t look like Bond at all; much more like a henchman.

No. Very handsome and smooth but has no physical menace at all. He is as intimidating as a rose petal.

I would like the actor who will play the role of Bond to be the one who can portray the role the longest. To be honest, I think that a less predictable (or never predicted, not even on this list) younger actor will be chosen for the role of James Bond. I have a strong feeling that James Norton or Lucien Laviscount will be the next Bond. I hope these lines will gain value at a future date. :)

Laviscount's ability to portray both charm and depth in his characters could potentially introduce a Bond who embodies both tradition and innovation.
