I Took Photos Of The Queen’s Swans

I was in a park in the north of England taking some photos just looking for some wildlife and then came across these awesome Swans.

They are known as (Mute Swans) but many British people call them the Queen’s Swans as Queen Elizabeth II

Has the right to claim ownership of any wild mute swan swimming in open water in the United Kingdom.

Swans have a bad reputation as there is the famous myth that a bite of a swan can break bones and they can also supposedly bite fingers off.

After some research, I can see no evidence of either of the myths being true, of course, an elderly person could possibly break fingers from a bite from a swan but I can not find any reports such as news stories.

Many people do not know that swans have cartilage in their mouth that acts like teeth so a bite can be quite strong so maybe the myth may have some truth to it.

These are very beautiful portraits, it looks like the swans were actually keeping still so you could get a good picture.
