After hitting yet another scary number which is your age, have you ever thought, "I can't be XX, I don't feel like it at all"? No one actually knows how a proper adult should feel, so we should just embrace our inner child, which doesn't seem to go anywhere throughout our whole life. No one asked what that child inside of us would look like brought out, but French Photoshop wizard Cristian Girotto did it anyway.

Girotto took the term "inner child" a little too literally and retouched portraits of adults to look like toddlers. The photo series called L'enfant Exterieur (or "The Outer Child" translated from French) explores how adults would look if their childish cuteness and innocence, playfulness, and sincere emotions were visible. He took portraits originally captured by photographer Quentin Curtat and edited subjects' features to resemble children. And although the combination of chest hair and beards with huge eyes and rosy, chubby cheeks seems a little bit creepy, the result is still oddly adorable.

"Imagine big fawn’s eyes winking in the night clubs or little chubby hands shaking in the offices," says a snippet from the project's description, which, after scrolling through this list, you will be unable to unsee. How bizarre would your inner child look if it was brought out?

Would help if we knew who these people were, or saw pics of them as adults. Otherwise, meh.
