Here I would like to show you my series of abandoned and forgotten churches in the eastern region of Poland. The Orthodox Church, or from Greek, belonging to the Lord. In the Polish language its called "Cerkiew". The Orthodox Church remains Orthodox and Uniate.

I find these abandoned buildings fascinating. What are the stories behind them and why have they been abandoned? Also, how are they in such good condition? In my country these buildings would have been defaced and stripped of anything remotely valuable a long time ago and, probably, become home to vagrants. PS, your avatar gave me a fright, Natalia! 😊
Haha I glad that you like my avatar 😅 Most of this churches are not in use, because of bad condition. Each of them has their own story
