Personally I have had my own battles with depression and anxiety for a lot of my life. I was finally diagnosed with bipolar 3 years ago, so I do not create these images lightly.

I’ve tried to make them in the image of how I feel and hope that others can relate to them.

MH support and understanding has come far in recent years but it still has a long way to go but I think starting with not being ashamed of our struggles or diagnosis and being open about them is key to others understanding.

My daughter bought me a badge that says ‘ Bipolar Badass’ knowing that it would make me laugh and it is pinned on my bag, if anyone ever asks me about it then I would happily enlighten them on Bipolar !
