Everyone knows the story of the Black Beauty, beaten, abused and no trust in people. Training horses has not always been a very kind business, but luckily the world is changing. More and more people are using natural ways to train horses. This style of training creates a whole new bond between trainer and horse; one of love, respect and trust. This bond is clearly visible in below pictures and movies.

As a retired trainer myself, I am so happy to see more and more people utilizing natural horsemanship when working with their horses!! Horses deserve to be treated with respect and dignity! If you earn a horses trust, there is nothing they won't do for you! They are the most unique in all of the animal kingdom, as they willingly enter into a partnership with humans. We owe them a debt of gratitude!! Our entire civilization has been built upon their backs!

The horse in the first two photos looks like my sweet Dumplin. She sadly died of colic, but lived a good life.
