this annoys me more than just slightly. "Herd of horses is the most common name for a group of horses. Names like 'team' or 'harras' are used in certain circumstances, but the most commonly used name for a group of horses is a herd."

AGREE. There should not be more than one right answer, and the designated 'right' answer should not be the more obscure one. Our family was a cattle farm but we raised some horses and were around horse people. Today is the first time I've ever heard the word harras.

Indeed, if you have passed the person in the third position in a race, you will be in the second position. However, the “correct” answer was the third place, as they say you should read it as “who was previously in the third position”…
