I’ve Been Exploring The Diversity Of The Chinese Landscape And Took Aerial Pictures (49 Pics)
With the complexity of traveling out of China during the pandemic, I kept traveling and meeting the diversity of the Chinese landscape as a break between industry and city to reconnect to nature.
The aerial photo series called "The Beauty of China From the Air" was born from my extensive trip through Sichuan, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, Tibet, and many other Chinese provinces, photographing the most picturesque landscapes.
Capturing beautiful scenery from the sky. These pictures of desert, trees, villages bring another vision of mother nature and man-made structures from high ground. Sunlight hits and creates a dazzling display of colors. Let's explore.

How much work went into all those terraces! They are lovely from the air.
China is vast and diverse - you can find green lush tropical forest / desert / mountain
No the color of Kanas lake is Turquoise due to glacier
Maybe I need some scale but I can't understand how people access/ farm these terraces. I realize its been done for centuries but are the crops worth the effort?
Wow do I ever wish you posted locations for these, I'd love to seek them out in FlightSim
Wuyuan in Jiangxi Province - they do dry spices that is the yellow and red circles
Jiankou - Wild Section - it's the shadow in autumn not fire
about 3500 m to 3800 m - Gansu Province - Gannan - Langmusi Town
I want to live here on a mountain slope just above the floodplain.
Valley in Litang - Sichuan but yeah very close to Tibet
Load More Replies...Is that water, and are the buildings hanging out over it? Doesn't seem like they'd end so abruptly if it was land.
Some of these are so very Chinese... I love the all one color towns, and the roof tops, and the terraces, and well, all of them really. These are beautiful photos.
Made me want to grab fishing gear and go. But yes, definitely!
Load More Replies...Loved the photos. Those I marked downward were because the water in them appears to be polluted.
Gorgeous. Thank you so much for sharing! I've never actually seen anything like these villages.
Enjoyed these very much but wish they would have said something about what and where they were. China obviously but........
These are fantastic! China is such a beautiful country with so much culture and history, but a part of me is loathe to visit (again, since technically I did a layover in China once but I didn't get to see much obviously) because of the whole political problems there... f the ccp.
