Imagine if weddings were a celebration of love, and she happened to love how casual and laid back he is, and he happened to love that she accepted him that way. That'd be neat.

The fact of the matter is that it’s far from just brides and grooms who cause drama and create situations that everyone will be gossiping about for years and years to come. There are some truly peculiar people out there who end up being invited to celebrations of love, only to try and ruin them. Some folks simply take pleasure in causing chaos wherever they go. Weddings are no exception.

Anna and Sarah, team leaders at The Wedding Society spoke to Bored Panda about unruly and rude guests, and how to manage them. In short, it’s important to let go of the idea that weddings can be ‘perfect’: some things will go wrong no matter what. So it’s vital to be able to adapt and not take any minor flaws in the plan personally.

“Some people just want to watch the world burn, and as hosts to an event, it's just something that wedding couples will have to accept,” Anna and Sarah explained to us that the happy couple has to be realistic about the fact that not everyone will be well-behaved and polite on this happy occasion. No matter how much we might want them to.

“Not everyone is going to fall in line, especially your anarchist uncle Jerry with the overgrown beard. That said, try to fall back on your vendor support system as leverage,” the experts pointed out that the marrying couple shouldn’t have to do everything themselves. They can’t worry about every tiny detail or mishap. They should turn to the venue’s staff to help them handle all the issues.

“Simply saying, ‘The venue has rules’ or, ‘Our caterers have agreed to only..’" is an easy way to take the blame off yourself but still enforce hard rules,” the wedding expert shared how couples can shut down some bad behavior among guests. It’s a way to misdirect some of the havoc-wreakers’ negative emotions elsewhere.

So... is it INTENTIONALLY designed to look like the cake is vomiting up flowers? Or is it supposed to be a "spilling out of the cake like opening a kids closet door"? Bc sorry this looks like tequila happened to that cake.

Me thinks this was made a few days (or a week) ahead of time - flower placement included - and forgotten about. Once remembered, there was no time to ice the cake beyond its crumb coat, and even then the flowers couldn’t be removed without crumbling to dust. Someone had a vision and ambition, but not the technical skill nor the time management needed to succeed.

As a cake baker and decorator myself, who has done quite a few wedding cakes, this would never, EVER be acceptable work to provide to any client. The cake has not been fully iced, and some of the flowers being used are toxic and shouldn't be in contact with the cake in any way. By doing so, this baker is putting his/her clients at serious risk. I hope they are bonded and insured, but my guess would be that they are not. This kind of c**p makes those of us who work our butts off in the industry look bad.

My sister paid $300 for an absolutely beautiful, tasteful (and tasty) 3 layer cake from "Great Cakes & Edible Monuments" in Redmond, WA for her wedding. They delivered the wrong MONSTROSITY to the reception venue (Salty's on Alki in Seattle $$$). This thing had BLUE roses melting down the side and pooling on the table beneath. They refused a refund. Oh, Honey - NO - you do not know the Dodson girls. We picketed outside their business for 3 straight days and for every 4 customers, 3 turned away. Yeah, she got a full refund AND they went out of business less than 2 years later.

When I got married a girl I worked with made a big deal about coming to my wedding. So I sent her an invitation and she responded she was coming. She didn’t show up. When I asked her what happened after I got back from my honeymoon why she didn’t come. She told me her community had a yard sale and she made $3OO.
