I Illustrated Each Day Of Quarantine With My Wife And A Cat (20 Pics)
I’m an illustrator stuck indoors in Chicago like everyone else. I’m here with my wife Kendra (I refer to her as KShark, or the Princes of Sandsmarkia because her last name is Sandsmark) and our cat Girl. I try and come up with fun, weird, and silly scenarios to keep those two from murdering me. I’ve made an illustration for each day of our quarantine. Below is a sample of them.

Yes, I have the same frustration on most posts that arenโt set up for individual comments. Maybe itโs a pain for the one posting images to set up this way. My comment below was deleted because i was complaining about not being able to edit posts. And I just figured that out! Hahaha!

These are so cute and inspiring - Thank you for sharing, Jay! :) love those cat images on the wall, the dinosaurs and the ....โRonaโ :D ...also that chart number crunching kitty - with glasses!
Load More Replies...I'm sure a lot of people can identify with at least some of these as cabin fever sets in!
"The Rona" omg, don't give it a nickname or we will never get rid of it!
I love that in the one you've got a dragon favorite cartoon of mine on in the tv... hahahahaha! These are awesome!
Brings back memories. This is basically what summers were like growing up on a rural country road in the โ65 - โ82 give or take (except for the zoom one). Forts, cats, a St. Bernard (missing in the comic) , playing army, playing barbies, playing spaceship, writing plays, choreographing dances (badly), the pond and wild creatures were key. It got really tough in high school, because friends (and boys) were the priority. My friend and I would walk 2 miles from our houses and meet in the middle, then walk back to one of our houses. Almost every darn day. She lived in a trailer park, which I thought was amazing because it seemed like a city to me! And boys were there. I still think sidewalks are an amazing luxury. Sadly most people now are staring at screens. Itโs good for mental health to make fun out of nothing, for kids and grownups both. But it can be torture when itโs not by choice.
I'm pretty much into the very same things I liked when I was 12. Dinos, forts, being silly, nothing has changed. :)
