I remember being p*ssed about queuing for 3.5 hours the first time I did this. As it lasts less than 13 seconds.....Fast track is always the way to go :D

From Wikipedia: X-Scream consists of a 68 ft (21 m)[2] straight piece of track similar to that of a conventional roller coaster, which carries a single open top car. This trackway pivots vertically in a see-saw motion, letting the car roll backward and forward along the length. The ride car is allowed to roll quickly forward to the end of the track, 27 feet (8.2 m) past the edge of the building,[4] before braking sharply. The rolling back and forth of the car and the rocking of the track is programmed to take the rider by surprise and feel like they are at risk of falling from the precipice of the building. This is my favorite ride. They play music on the ride and the first time I rode, Frank Sinatra crooned, "Come Fly With Me." It was incredibly relaxing. It's a smooth ride and the view is terrific. On hot days (and Dallas gets hot!), the breeze up there feels wonderful. Only scary if one is afraid of heights.

I rode this while visiting japan and it was the best rollercoaster I have ever been on. I dont know where it ranks now , but at the time (2000) it was the longest, tallest, and fastest coaster in the world

This closed last year. When it ran it was wicked. It often was shut down for odd reasons (once for a bird strike while I was there). Great ride though.

My daughter and grands (youngest age 5) were at Disney a couple weeks ago. They were on one of the coasters and it shut down . They had to walk down!
