Take a look at these pictures below. Now take a look again. Because while you might think that you're looking at pictures of Audrey Hepburn, Vivien Leigh, and even Anne Frank, you're actually looking at Annelies Maria Francine, a 17 year-old Belgian girl with a flair for taking timeless photographs.
From Scarlett O'Hara from Gone With The Wind to Audrey Horne from Twin Peaks, there's no look that Annelies can't pull off with the right clothes and make-up and a bit of imagination. And whether she's turning herself into Princess Belle from Beauty and the Beast or even Vermeer's famous Girl with a Pearl Earring, every look she recreates is nothing short of perfection.
"About two years ago I cut my hair into a pixie cut and my mother instantly told me that I reminded her of Audrey Hepburn," Annelies told Bored Panda. "A couple of days later I was in french class and my teacher also told me I looked like Audrey. I finally felt it was time to do some research and I gradually become obsessed with Audrey and vintage hollywood glamour."
When asked where she gets her awesome clothes, Annalies said: "Most of my clothes are from secondhand shops or small vintage shops near where I live, but sometimes I like to go on Etsy, because you can find some amazing vintage things on there!" So the next time you're looking at vintage photographs of timeless beauties, stop and think twice, because the girl in the pictures might not be who you expect.

Anne Frank Inspired Look
actually Anne Frank was totally besotted with the glamorous icons of the day. I think she might have loved this list. Apart from being a symbol for the horrors of the holocaust she became, she was also a young teenage girl who would probably have loved being an style icon. I don't see that much distastefulness here.

Tbh I don't think this one really works, but that's OK - Audrey Hepburn probably couldn't have pulled off the Marilyn look either (or vice versa).

You do a great job, getting your makeup to mimic the pallor, and therefore the rampant hunger, illness, and addiction to the morphine and heroin in the medicine they bought over the counter, and used it for themselves or their kids. I read about the "teething syrups" sold over the counter, one had at least 10 heavy narcotics in it. I think this might just be the reason why crib death was so incredibly common.

Wow, she nailed Scarlett O'Hara, but a Marilyn Monroe she is not. Beautiful young woman!
I'm super disappointed she isn't at least dressed once like a dinosaur to represent the Jurassic era inspired look
she is very talented and genetically blessed, I'm a bit jealous tbh, well done
While her make up and style does help, I think the fact that she can "recreate" looks of celebrities isn't so much a statement on her skills as how cookie cutter our definitions of beauty is. If you look at many of the female celebrities even today many share similar features like large eyes, pouty/full lips, high cheekbones, etc., etc. It's kind of sad, really.
Great stuff. Talent, good looks, style and a fabulous wardrobe - I am envious. I'd like to see her as disco diva too. As it is, a few of the pics are a bit samey: I think maybe 30 rather than 36 would have made a stronger collection. Sometimes less is more.
Her face is very beautiful and it's very interesting what she can do with it. Good job!
I believe she can pull the Natalie Portman look, I find her so similar.
Uh, no, she can't. She bears a resemblance to Vivien Leigh and a slight resemblance to Audrey Hepburn. The rest is clothes/hats/props. The makeup is straight out of Kevyn Aucoin's book "Making Faces," and there's a lot of retouching.
Okay-shots look great. She's a great choice as model. But she's only 17, as the heading states. Is this lovely 17 year old just modeling these looks or did she also style all these by herself?
