Poor baby. More likely than narcolepsy would be neurodivergence: both ADHD and autism can be extremely exhausting, and they're way under-diagnosed in girls and women.

I am not understanding why this requires discipline??? When a young child is falling asleep in class, this is the opposite of getting into trouble. This is figure out what's wrong 🥺

Get her to her pediatrician for a physical - falling asleep repeatedly during the day can be a sign of sleep apnea or enlarged adenoids, causing breathing difficulties and preventing deep sleep at night.

Required reporters have to follow up even if it sounds not very plausible. Like the time my then young grandson saw a show about trappers / furs and then told his teacher they were nailing cat skins up to dry on their apartment walls. (He doesn't hate cats, he just went with an animal that was around his urban environment. )
