With The Help Of Yoga Instructors, I Create Surreal Photos That Blend Human Body With Plant Forms
Breathing Life is an exploration of human and non-human form through the unifying power of breath.
The images were created using an in-camera double exposure technique blending the human body in various yoga positions with the organic structures of plant life. The images were shot in Washington D.C.’s Meridian Hill / Malcolm X Park with local yoga instructors Hawah Kasat and Helena Snyder.
The project was created in partnership with Washington Parks & People, One Common Unity and Interdependent Pictures, Washington D.C. based organizations with a unified mission to breathe life into urban green spaces and connect urban communities to the earth.

This is beautiful. I wish I learned the technique how to do this. I've other photos with stars as the background.
Hi Abiezer. Actually, the effect is done within the camera. You take one photo after the other. This isn't done in photoshop.
