Malaysian Artist Creates Surrealistic Art That Shows What The “Corner Of The Planet” Would Look Like In These 11 Pictures
One could say photo manipulations are illusions created by heavy photo editing techniques. It is an art where ordinary photos are transformed into something alluring, surreal, and totally out of the box.
Digital artist Zairul from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia has been inspired by the situation we lived in last year because of COVID-19. The artist’s vision was to have people escape their dull everyday lives if for just a moment with his series called “End of the road.” Impressively edited images showcase places that could be considered to be the “Corner Of The Planet.”
Bored Panda reached out to the artist to inquire more about the project.
"The pandemic hit us in 2020, but in 2021, we had no idea what was going to happen next. It felt like we were all at the end of the road.
My art mostly came from my dreams and wild childhood imagination. At first, I didn’t even think that I could possibly translate it into an image until I got to know how to use Adobe Photoshop.
From there, I continued my passion to the next level. I hope someday, people will know me from my great artworks."
