My name is Dániel Ripka and I am an award-winning photo artist based in Budapest. My works are mostly surreal images. I think it's because I was influenced by Salvador Dali when I visited his exhibition during my childhood in Menton, France.

I started my journey to photo manipulation 5 years ago as a self-taught photographer when I felt I could create more than just pictures. As an artist, it's always a challenge to come up with original artwork, but, thank God, I am able to produce on the level I expect. Over the years, I've experienced that a good way to get inspired is to find a lovely object around me and start to think about how I could transform it for a project. Sometimes it's just a day or two, but it has happened before that it took years to find the right form...
