I Am A Photo Manipulation Artist, Here Are 30 Of My Surreal Images That I’ve Made
I like to tell a story through imagery. If I can get you to stop and think about one of my images while you're flipping through Instagram, then I have done my job! My goal is to thought-provoke, to communicate and inspire through imagery.
I do not use any stock photos and I shoot and retouch all of the photos needed myself. Thank you so much for viewing!

I'm a Canadian graphic artist and photographer currently living in Los Angeles. While I spend a lot of time on the computer, I really enjoy working with my hands whenever I can, such as carpentry projects around the house.
While in college, I developed a huge crush on a girl who was a photographer. In an attempt to spend more time with her, I bought a camera kit and started going on photo walks with her. Ultimately, things didn't work out between us but I was left with a newfound passion that I loved!
Over the first couple of years, I tried all sorts of photography genres. Portraits, landscape, macro, light painting, you name it. While I enjoyed these genres, I always felt like I wanted to do more with my images, and then I saw a TED talk given by Erik Johansson. Erik is a surrealism photography pioneer and someone I really look up to. His talk showed me that photography can go so far beyond one still, and that your imagination and crazy ideas are a possibility with modern-day DSLRs and editing software.
The time I spend creating images depends on the concept. Some of them I have made in a couple of days, others have taken months. What can be a huge delay is finding the right locations, cooperating with the weather, finding models, etc. And of course, when I mess up a shoot and have to do it again, that makes things longer too.
I love surrealism because it is limitless and every image is a new adventure and challenge. It is also a great way to communicate a message as I have done with several of my images. The message may not always be obvious, but I think it's fun to include meaning in my artwork!
Wrote a note said be back in a minute Bought a boat and I sailed off in it Don't think anybody gonna miss me anyway. Mind on a permanent vacation The ocean is my only medication Wishing my condition ain't ever gonna go away
