This Person Noticed That No One Wears Armor In Zombie Movies And Starts A Hilarious Discussion
Thinking outside the box is a quality well appreciated nowadays and while it may seem to be harder and harder every day to come up with something worthwhile, some people constantly have their heads spinning around something unheard of. Or maybe these “eureka” moments are all shower thoughts for all that we know. All jokes aside, these two people on Tumblr came up with a simple yet genius idea of how to survive a zombie apocalypse. And while it may not be a common topic, they really are onto something!
This person started wondering why nobody ever use suits of armor in any zombie stories
And while he surely was onto something, someone found a way to improve his idea
And thus started a marvelous discussion on how to best survive the zombie apocalypse

Share on FacebookPlease don't wear a suit of armour in the zombie apocalypse, you're going to get infected and you'll be difficult for us survivors to kill. When the apocalypse comes, I'll be inside one of those giant inflatable balls, I'll be bouncing over the undead. Hahaha...
You will... ZORB your way through the apocalypse? Sounds fun!

They tested this, you can do some surprising athletics in a full suit of armor. I also have a hard time believing a horde of rotting bodies could pull armor apart if steel weapons can't, all while being hacked to bits with a sword. Or better yet, the ultimate zombie killing implement, the Chainsaw - let that image sit in your head for a while. Knight with a Chainsaw, chopping up zombies. Rip and Tear, kids. But lo, as we all know and as the last comment pointed out, the real threat in zombies is the humans and that puts a spanner in the works.
I own some plate mail parts myself. Still, most of my armor is made of leather, but mostly for cost reasons. A full plate mail is really expensive cause it is always handmade and has to been adapted. But you are right, you can move pretty good when the weight is distributed evenly across your body. A backpack with the same weight but only on your back is harder to carry.
