44 Times People Spotted Such Weird And Funny Things On The Subway, They Just Had To Share
Getting a ride on public transport sometimes seems like the closest we regular people get to starring in our very own TV show, featuring surprise guest appearances by eccentric characters.
One day, you might find yourself sitting next to Big Bird, and the next, you're crammed between a professional yodeler and a double of Mona Lisa.
Documenting all of these encounters, the social media project 'Subway Creatures' shares people's submitted pictures from their memorable commute moments, reminding us just how unpredictable everyday life can be.

I see nothing wrong with this. This is how I want to travel on the bus everyday
He's on instagram. Pinset_tailoring. He only wears clothing he makes and none of it is modern. It's really cool to see how fashion has functioned over the centuries
It must be my age, but whenever I see Baker Street, all I can hear is a saxophone solo!
hey i mean you do what you gotta do and if that means carrying brass knuckles, so be it
A rare picture of Big Bird before he was able to secure government housing on Sesame Street and turn his life around.
For those confused, the pants are made out of a certain type of mask
Why would you be on the subway if you’re on a motorcycle..?? JUST USE THE GOD DAMN MOTORCYCLE FOR GOD’S SAKE
I think it's an older Kawie Ninja or some Chinese knockoff, note the old school swingarm and rear drum brake.

Seeing a lot of the animals ppl bring into the subway makes me sad. I think for a lot of them it is a very unnatural and stressful environment. How can a peacok be comfortable there? Ir that duck in a plastic bubble? I mean I would not even bring my cat in there unless absolutely necessary and only in a suitable protective carrier.
I have to imagine that the animals are well trained, and/or do this very rarely. Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. For a lot of animals traveling at all is stressful, and a lot of people in the city might not have their own vehicle. I imagine the subway is likely faster than the traffic as well, so they will be back in a calm environment sooner
Load More Replies...Ironic how the comments section is normally so self-righteous about not taking and posting pictures of strangers, but suddenly not a peep.
just goes to show how the new york population is just a whole other subspecies of human lol.
What cracks me up is - NO ONE looks twice at these people (and animals, etc.)
And I dress to blend in and to avoid anyone approaching me..I look like I'm smuggling drugs I guess.
