Sins Of Singapore

Before arriving to Singapore I knew that they have some rules about chewing gum in public places. When I arrived, from the first day I started noticing signs everywhere with the messages of what you are not allowed to do.

Singapore has strict laws and orders, making it very safe society and as a result there are certain rules. There are very strict laws in place that keep Singapore the squeaky clean. The following are prohibited: smoking in public, chewing gum, spitting in public, littering, jaywalking. Failure to observe these laws will result in stiff fines.
The fine for forgetting to flush the toilet in a public convenience is S$500.

Hardly makes a difference in a country like that where you will most likely die early from lung cancer caused by Car fumes (benzine) and other industrial pollution. Like the cause of 95% of lung cancers world wide, Are not from smoking like governments would like us to believe But it's mostly from Industrial pollution (chemical plants, cars, trucks, industry in general) You know that sweat smell when you breath in Benzine fumes (from a diesel engine) That sweat smell is the Benzine itself and being able to smell it in just one breath is equal to smoking for years (where benzine can't even be smelt or tasted in ciggs.) Not saying it good for anyone, But the cancer caused by smoking is Majorly Exaggerated to take focus away from Industrialization being the primary cause of cancer world wide.
