There’s A Genius Street Artist Running Loose In The Streets, And Let’s Hope Nobody Catches Him (42 New Pics)
Tom Bob (previously here) refuses to simply live in the world. He's reshaping it. Creating street art on common objects in the urban landscape, he's perfectly personalizing his boring surroundings.
Whether it's turning a pipe into an anteater or transforming a fire hydrant into Princess Leia with smart execution of 3D art, there's nothing he can't do. Usually, Tom Bob graces NYC with his wall drawings, but sometimes he unleashes his graffiti art creativity elsewhere as well. Those include Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Dubai (the United Arab Emirates), and other places all over the world; wherever there's a wall, he'll definitely liven it up with his cool drawings. Scroll down to check out the newest creative drawings from Tom Bob and upvote your favorite pieces.

Psst!! Wanna Buy Some Time? (California)
And well paid by the community and mayor and state. I don't see why artists should be homeless and surviving when their work is nothing of what common people can do. Artists keep the mind and soul of a community alert and open our eyes towards hidden issues the government keeps throwing at us making our whole life a matter of survival basically.... See the food, the drinks, the vaccines, the deforestation, the poisoning of the land with tracking....
Load More Replies...OMG...imagine how beautiful the world would be if we did this to every "ugly" surface. I would love it!
My husband and I had a Migrant Tree Planting Company and planted trees from Florida to Maine...I had a blast leaving Street Art along the way 🎉 it was contagious...we would return the next year and people would have added to it.
Who would have thought of this. To funny and makes me want to buy one.
A sign humanity hasn't dumbed-down as whole quite yet. This is so clever and stylish
This is amazing. Bob (or whoever he is ) should be employed to beautify places ALL OVER THE WORLD.

I need this person in my city asap !! Amazing work... I'm sure whoever sees this smiles to themselves in their daily lives filled with work and school and other things...
I've got to wonder how they knew of what to take pictures before he/she painted all over it... was there someone in NC just running around taking pictures of everything?

Load More Replies...street art is fine but i am not sure colouring over electrical panels or junction boxes or fire hydrant is a good idea. Those are sometimes colour coded or tagged or etched with important informations.
Where do people keep reading that it says these are in New York? The title just says running loose in the streets. It never specified a place.
It says in the intro - Usually, Tom Bob operates in NYC, but sometimes he unleashes his creativity elsewhere as well. Those include Kaohsiung (Taiwan), Dubai (the United Arab Emirates), and other places all over the world.
Load More Replies...Love it! The world needs more of u and ur colorful imagination! 👍🏼😊🎉🎨
these are all SUPER great! I would love to see states and cities higher artists to beautify the more mundane or straight up bad looking things in our cities.
All of these are not NYC. I have a feeling that some other artists' work may be mixed in here. I saw a couple that were clearly LA and 2 that looked to be (maybe) Tokyo...

Load More Replies...May I ask how did you ou get the the perfect beofre and after shots ? How did you know to photograph that spot and then paint it?
Dont get me wrong I LOVE THIS SO MUCH WE NEED MORE COLOUR IN THE WORLDS CITIES
Load More Replies...except for the fire hydrant, which shouldn't be messed with because sometimes the color schemes tell fire personnel things about pressure and flow rates, EXCEPTIONAL work!!!
I just loved your whimsical work and how you see something out of pipes, manhole covers and spotlights.
Gonna be honest - I think they're all really tacky and I'd prefer the look of urban decay.
I'm not sure why your comment got downvoted. I agree, some of it looks cooler the way it did before.
Load More Replies...It would just brighten up anyone's day to come across one of these, the only place I didn't like was Dubai, the mellow rustic wood was lovely to see and it was sad to see it painted
Cute, but sometimes some city worker might walk right by it and miss it....wasting working people's time. And why the third picture showing us another of the same thing? Are we that stupid?
I smiled all the way through this post. How clever and wonderful. I agree with Mary Anderson, cities should hire people to do this kind of thing. How fun and interesting to stumble upon one of these as you're hustling about your day. You would just have to stop and check it out!
You should take a look at Fort Collins Colorado. They love this stuff.
It never ceases to astound me the level of talent some people posess! hese artists really should be getting paid for their novel ideas and beautiful work!
This is absolutely wonderful. World is full of creativity, we just have to turn out head to find another talented fellow.
I really like his art, it's cute, colourful, joyful, it makes me smile. Thank you Sir !
Brilliant what else is there to say. Fun, inspirational, cheerful - you get the idea. We need more of this everywhere. X
Would this be deemed as safety hazards? People only thinking they are 2D and tripping over? I love the work but we all know there are people out there wanting to make a quick buck
They are wonderful! Much better than just the plain, drab, utilitarian look. I hope that some talented artist does this type of work in San Antonio, Tx.
Where one person sees whatever is in front of them, and someone with a creative mind sees something completely different.
Do you know the person, considering you managed to get pictures of the exact places before and after, and you said "he?"
