“He Put The Injured Paw Forward”: Video Shows Stray Dog Wandering Into A Vet Clinic As If To Ask For Help
There are many stray animals in this world and so many of them are starving, sick, or injured. Sadly, it’s impossible to help them all. However, this dog in Ceará, Brazil decided he would change his fate and wandered into a vet clinic called Vet Vip. It’s hard to understand how the doggo realized where to go. The pooch was very lucky to find a vet named Dayse Ferreira da Silva that decided to help him right away.
The amazing vet examined the dog and asked him to go to the examination room. To her surprise, he immediately followed her commands.

Dayse Ferreira da Silva spoke to Bored Panda: “Quindim was a stray dog. Through the external cameras of the clinic, I saw that he was walking, then he laid down and took a nap. Then he got up and went to the office door. Right away, I felt that he needed help and I invited him in. He kindly let me examine him and after some tests, he was diagnosed with a transmissible venereal tumor, which is a very common disease in stray dogs and also highly contagious.”

“He is doing very well now, reacting perfectly to chemotherapies, to the drugs he has been taking and so far he has had no adverse reaction. Quindim is now for adoption. We already have around 10 people from Brazil all interested in giving him a loving home, but we will give preference to people close to our city, because due to the pandemic, many flights were canceled, making it difficult to send him to another location. He is loving, very playful, he is very outgoing, runs, plays and socializes well with other animals.”

Share on FacebookWhat a selfless act... I hope it inspires her to do more for strays....it is never their choice to be in the situation they are in...
It just proves how intelligent dogs are. Associating going to see a vet with being ill/injured and getting better. Knowing where the vet was, what it was and making the decision that now was the time to go to the vet and seek help. Some humans I know don't have these skills..
This is amazing! That sweet, intelligent dog. I hope he finds a loving home where he will be cherished and live a happy, long life!
