Stray Cat Brings All Her Babies To A Woman Who Gave Her Food And Helped Her

A woman living in Canada found out that life can be a lot like Disney movies during some meowgical moments. Lisianne, from Quebec, once fed a cat that had wandered into her garden and started a friendship with it. The cat would come back often for food, affection, and to play with the woman.

But one day Usagi the cat came back and she wasn’t alone, oh no! It turns out that the momma cat had been pregnant this entire time and, after she gave birth, she brought all 6 of her gorgeous kittens to meet Lisianne to meet after some time. One by one, Usagi put the kittens in a line on the porch.

Now, 5 of the 6 three-month-old kittens are looking for a new forever home and are currently in the care of a local rescue group, Chatons Orphelins Montréal. Before you start worrying about what happened to the 6th kitten, relax—a friend of Lisianne’s adopted it.

Lisianne took all of them in and then contacted her friends and a local animal shelter for help

One of the kittens was taken in by the woman’s friend. Meanwhile, the other 5 are waiting for their new owners at a rescue shelter

The shelter helped the kittens get all the veterinary attention that they needed

Lisianne had previously been worried that she was overfeeding Usagi because her stomach kept getting bigger and bigger. However, Usagi was simply pregnant, so the food, water, and attention that Lisianne gave her were all very much appreciated.

After Usagi gave birth, Lisianne opened up her home to the momma cat and her 6 newborns. She gave them a room in her home to live in safely for some time. Later on, the woman reached out to her friends and a local shelter for some help. And not a moment too soon!

The kittens, as it turned out, had breathing problems and suffered from conjunctivitis. So the shelter was able to give them the medical care they required.

Among the 5 kittens still up for adoption are 3 females (Taylor, Tynie, and Tyana) and 2 males (Tales and Tito). All of them have unique characters. Meanwhile, Lisianne adopted Usagi to keep her fed and also decided to spay her to prevent her from getting pregnant again.

Here’s how people reacted to the meowgical story

Years ago a pregnant stray showed up at my house. I named her Ragamuffin because she was long-haired and scruffy. She had five kittens in my bathroom cabinet. I found forever homes for all of them, and had Ragamuffin fixed. She was my constant companion for the next 17 years. Rest in peace, you sweet cat.

My brother-in-law came home from vacation with a stray dog he rescued. She was pregnant. We had a litter of 9 pups in our living room. They were adorable. We found homes for 5 of them and couldn't part with 4. We read online how you shouldn't keep multiples of a litter...we did anyway and it is one of the best decisions we've made. The rescue dogs we had had before suffered from really bad separation anxiety. Since the pups have each other we've never had that problem, they are REALLY good with each other, and with us they are super lovey. We're all just one big happy family. They will be 2 next month and I'm so happy we kept everyone we did. In the meanwhile my husband still grumbles about the last one we adopted out...he wouldn't have been upset if we couldn't find a home for her. So we have 300# of puppy and everyone - including mom - has been fixed and has a happy home :)

Once I fed a stray cat, without knowing that she was pregnant . 1 month later, I opened the door to find that the cat was looking at me with 5 kittens around her, sleeping. My father moved the kittens under our bird coop and their mother followed them.I still remember that time when she looked at me ,her look saying, " Hello, your now the youngest grandma in cat history"

I love how animals seeking shelter or help, always bring the world together. I once saw two people arguing in front of a store, but then they saw a stray kitten, that was probably as big as a fluff ball, and they helped her. It was heartwarming to see this, because itproves that some people still care.

I have two shorthaired cats: a black one and a tuxedo one- all I need to make my set complete are longhaired black and tuxedo ones along with both white shorthaired and longhaired ones. :D (Totally would have more cats if I lived on a farm and could afford to take care of them).

i think what they meant was that they were smaller when they were brought there, and then they took care of them at the house, and these pictures were taken while they were being cared for. also if a momma cat is fed good, then the kittens are going to be fed good too, even if they dont see any people

This is like my stray Tink who had her babies somewhere else, but brought them to my house after our last flood. It was so sad and sweet at the same time. You could see their little wet bottoms where she tried so hard to carry them out of the flood waters 😭. Now we just have the one baby who is now grown. And I thought this story was cute for another reason bc I have raccoons now that did the same. And their names are Tido bc my son named them when we thought it was just one.. ended up being 5 now. They wait for dinner every night at the same time.. They are too cute. I don't put out a lot of food, just enough to keep them from starving if they don't scrounge enough up for the night.. it keeps them wild, keeps a boundary and keeps them busy so that they don't eat my cat's food..

That's how I got one of my cats, Jones. He was left behind by my neighbor who moved. He started hanging out under a tree in my yard and I'd feed him. One day, I opened the door and said to myself, if he walks in, with my 3 huge dogs and 2 cats standing here, then I guess he's mine. He walked right in, rubbed up against my Chow, walked under the other 2 dogs legs and spread out to sleep on my kitchen floor. I had him until he was almost 17. Our home is the underground animal trail. It’s like they KNOW they will be well cared for here. My sister went to feed the horses, came back with two full grown, but truly dirty Great Pyrenees dogs. Here in TX, there is a little known law that if you feed an animal more than twice, you are responsible.

I was 11 years old and we moved to a new house. A medium sized cat was clearly abandoned there. It came to the door regularly for food and water. One day my dad put our cats in the bedroom (to protect them as we didn't know how each cat would react. And they were in door cats and we lived right next to a very fast road. Didn't want them hit) and we left the front door open. Not to long later the cat we have been feeding comes inside and makes herself at home. She's clearly bigger. But we thought nothing of it. That is untill I went to bed to find blood and 4 pretty little kittens under my blanket! Needless to say I made a new bed on the floor for a while so they could have my bed untill she felt the need to move her bundles of joy.

So this sorta happened to me, My mom found 3 strays (all siblings) wandering in the school restroom(she worked at a school). She took them all home. She took them to get check-ups and gave 2 of the dogs away to friends and we were stuck with one dog. We helped him with fleas and we fed and cared for him...not long after we got attached. We kept him and named him spike. He is currently 3 years old and super sweet. IMG_202104...8ee523.jpg IMG_20210406_125525-60806608ee523.jpg

story regarding how I got one of my cats, Tonks: So, there was this couple who had gone to see their family, and near the end of their trip the family gave the couple a cat. They literally threatened, "if you don't take this cat I'll snap its neck". The couple took the cat because they didn't want her to get hurt, however, there was no way they were able to keep her. I forget if it was some sort of home policy or they simply couldn't afford it. Anyways, my parents saw Tonks online, and we adopted her.

I am from Russia, we have superstitions about black cats too but I simply could not imagine it is such a problem worldwide. Like, people don't want to adopt them or try to kill them...I know plenty of people who have black cats at their households, even elder citizens. And never ever I heard from anyone they don't want to take black kittens.

I picked up a small stray female in front of a convenience store. She was tiny, scared and pregnant. I kept her and she gave birth to four babies. Two boys and two girls. I kept everyone as I could not find homes for any of them. All are spayed/neutered now. I take it as gifts from the Universe.

Awfully common that persons who doesent care at all wild animals or pets they say like this: I love Cats, biggest friend. they tend to high light how much they like and animals like them. Even reality is opposite, animals are tortured, left suffering and stray, abandoned to street, forest.

Any ways evil woman who doesent in reality care about cats at all. Illegal around here. If cat comes to your yard you make announcement found cat. Female cats can be checked do they have babes or not, if nipples are red and swallowed cat is feeding her babes. You follow cat and see where it gose and take cat babes to custody whit their mother. If you cant do these things you try to find home or ask animal wellfare organisation what to do, what is legal. Babes can be sick and suffering from heat or cold. Person who feed cat at their yard is animal abuser who in reality doesent like animals at all but get some pleasure from keeping it dead alive. Cats need care, and when cats are out they also fight and have diseases what has to be taken care of. Mices and rats have several diseases and outdoor cat has to be checked regularly once week ears and such things. Daily keep it to your hands, and you will notice if something hurts or has skin infections.

I am so happy they are so well taken care of. Black cats are my favourite. Those floofs don't steal your soul, they steal your heart and give you theirs in return. Great story to hear in these times

i think what they meant was that they were smaller when they were brought there, and then they took care of them at the house, and these pictures were taken while they were being cared for. also if a momma cat is fed good, then the kittens are going to be fed good too, even if they dont see any people

This is a good lesson for us reading how one women's act of kindness saved not only one cat but her kindness saved a mother cat and her five kittens. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for saving these cats and for sharing this story of kindness. Rita Parvey

I have a Persian who fell in love with a stray as she was wandering around the block. Her kitties aren’t born yet. Mau is very thick furred so she isn’t cold in the winter, no one can stop her when she is out and about on the streets

Aww, momma knew she’d get good treatment for her kitties there! So glad they got the help they so deserve 💜 My heart broke a little that yet again it’s the black ones that get chosen the last, I just don’t get it, they’re awesome.

The kittens all look like a younger version of my Boo! (Who is the subject of many of my paintings featured here on Bored Panda: https://www.boredpanda.com/portraits-cat-named-boo-kathryn-evans/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=organic&utm_campaign=organic) Black cats are so wonderful despite superstitions of bad luck.

Spay and neuter your cats, especially if they're outdoor. They're an invasive species. If you can't afford it then you can't afford to have a pet. Mic drop.

story regarding how I got one of my cats, Tonks: So, there was this couple who had gone to see their family, and near the end of their trip the family gave the couple a cat.

A friend tola about his parents neighbourgh. The grown son never moved out. When the last living parent died he was alone in the house. One day shortly efter he had the terrace door open. A cat came in, jumped to the sofa and had a nice nap. My friend a pretty sure the cat saved the son from being lonely.

The most beneficial way to help stray animals is to neuter/spay them. (.... the best way to save our planet is to sterilize certain "people").
