Have you ever heard someone say that their life is “like a movie” because of all the unbelievable things happening to them? Movies are indeed as good as their ability to leave a viewer shocked, touched or in consideration. And of course, I guess most of us have that friend or we are that friend that loves to be a “movie critic”, pointing out every little detail that is wrong in the movie. Characters going straight into a deadly trap, stopping their car in the woods in the middle of the night, then running like Usain Bolt himself from death, and of course, managing to escape it. Sometimes the movie plot is so involving that we might not notice some little details that make the movie scenario less relatable to real life.

Having this in mind, Reddit users shared their Shower Thoughts on some strange movie plot choices that actually make sense in real life. From Bruce Almighty changing the way we spell B-E-A-UTIFUL to kids sent to die in a fight in The Hunger Games, showing that this was actually a pretty common practice throughout our history.

The success of the series of books and movies about the magical world is seen to this day. There is an error in translation from French to English. The slippers were made of "vair", which is a kind of fur. However, it's a homophone for "verre" which means glass. Also, it would be impossible for the slippers to be made of glass: http://croomphysics.com/assignment/articles/Cinderella_Shattered_Dreams.pdf

Actually Cinderella's shoes weren't glass. This poster should reread "Aschenputtel." I don't know which part of the story is creepier: her stepsister cutting off her toes to fit into the fur slippers or the birds pecking the stepsisters' eyes out!

By this logic since she wasn't wearing the carriage, horses or footmen they shouldn't have turned back. Also everything else was transformed by magic, the shoes were created.

This is not mentioned in movies, but is explained in the books. JK Rowling addresses the creating food issue in the Deathly Hallows book. I would need to look it up for accuracy, but when Harry and Hermione are alone in the woods starving after Ron left, Rowling made it very clear that wizards and witches cannot create food using magic. They can use magic to manipulate food such as cooking and cleaning, but she makes it very clear that there is no spell or magical device that can create food from nothing. She also explains why the food appears so quickly in such large quantities and is cleaned immediately in Goblet of Fire book. It is the elves making, delivering, and clearing the food. It's explained the work makes them happy. Hermione is of course horrified by this and starts the Society for Promotion of Elfish Welfare (SPEW). It is a shame they could not fit that into the movie. So it is not that they can end world hunger choose not to, they just can't create food with magic.
