I draw in a technique called stippling. I draw pieces that take between 200 and 700 hours to complete. Dot by dot with a pen.
I mainly draw human figure as a way to endlessly explore light and shadow shifting on surface. No one’s body is the same.

Share on FacebookI do something similar to this, but with larger markers or paintbrushes because I do not have your patience. Wow!
Love it!!! especially the videos of how its done, I love to see how art is created. the artist in me I suspect. Fantastic understanding of light x
Outside of using a patience trying technique, this artist is gifted. She is probably able to do anything she endeavors to artistically. I love it.
That's incredibly kind - thank you!

Never spent this much time on anything during my masters either haha. It's just something I know visually. It looks 'right'

Beautiful. I like and admire pointillism and similar. What kind/weight of paper do you use? What diameter of pen do you use?
Thank you! I use Rotring Rapidograph 0.1mm pen and Arches 640gsm rough paper:-)

Thank you! Pointilism is still correct - I think the term stippling came along just to specify the medium rather than technique!
