Spring is gradually coming into its own - moreover, the day of the vernal equinox has recently passed, and now the night will gradually, but more and more confidently, yield its rights to the day. The long-awaited warmth arrives, the flowers begin to bloom - only for one day a sudden attack of frost to ruin everything!
There is perhaps no time of year in world culture that is more popular and spoiled by the attention of numerous poets and artists, and spring, like a capricious superstar, gifts us with its many whims every given year.
In response, we come up with different springtime memes and jokes, such as those in this collection by Bored Panda.

I used to get dosed with this as a kid occasionally at night even when I didn't have an allergy attack XD
They are where I live. And sadly there are several fatalities a year. It's a combination of lack of bike lanes and cyclist stupidity/arogance, more the latter.
Load More Replies...The ones whining about cyclists should be forced to ride in their city's bicycle lanes for a year. ~IF~ they survive, maybe they'll change their attitudes.
I use our bike lanes and those in towns around me, religiously (as do many people), I have for years. Cyclists still cause all kinds of problems, even with having the bike lanes, some of them are really nice lanes too. Plenty of car incidents around here are caused by idiots on bikes and not actually those driving vehicles. It has nothing to do with bad bike lanes or a lack of, but rather idiocy.
Load More Replies...Wasps aren't really a problem in the spring, its mostly a mid to late summer/early fall problem. That's when they are most active and you do not want to be anywhere near a overflowing dumpster or trash bin. I'll take the cyclists over wasps any day.
Just another meme spreading anti-cyclist hate... and no I am not a cyclist
Climate Chaos: Yes, sweetie, but don't forget the floods, fires, and tornadoes!!
the person who choses the weather for spring is drunk and rolling a dice, and pressing random buttons.
On the other hand, I am writing these lines when a fine, disgusting rain is drizzling outside the window, it is damn cold outside, but at the same time, exactly a year ago, I remember myself walking down the street in just a T-shirt. This is such a time of year when real tropical heat one day can give way to snow and cold rain literally the next. The most beautiful thing - thanks to the renewal of nature, but also the most capricious time of the year.
The nice thing about bumble bees, is that they are all pollinators, and don't sting people.
Bumblebee workers and queens do indeed sting; the rarer males don't. Unlike honeybees, a bumblebee does not die after stinging, and can sting more than once (similar to a wasp). The good thing is that bumblebees are generally pretty relaxed and peaceful.
Load More Replies...I have a shirt that says "Why is it always YEEHAW and never HOW'S YEE?" - this reminded me of it XD I love the word "Beehaw" and shall use it often now XD
Hello darkness my old friend, I've come to speak with you again. About the vision softly creeping

Spring is woven from contradictions - flowers and puddles, the first timid sprouts of young grass and the last snow, birds singing - and pollen, pollen everywhere it can be, forcing everyone who has even a hint of an allergy to curse the moment when they were born to the light. Spring means the post-Super Bowl lull, but at the same time, March Madness is finally here...
my grandma has a little thing that goes in flower pots that says 'I Wet My Plants' and sometimes i almost die laughing
A flower is a leaf mad with lust. -- I can't remember who said this originally
Load More Replies...“In the spring, I have counted 136 different kinds of weather inside 24 hours,” Mark Twain once said, and if something has changed in the century and a half since these words were spoken, then only in one direction - now an attentive person can count more than 136 kinds for sure... Even though the climate is changing, and spring itself is gradually “smoothing out,” turning into a strange, changeable interval between winter and summer.
Everyone: spring is the time of sunny weather and flowers!!! - Colorado, where it has snowed several feet in the past two weeks in the middle of f*****g March:
20" in Minnesota. The only snow we've had here this year.

But still, no matter how much we vent about spring, in any case it brings much more joys than problems. Because spring is always a revival of nature, hope for something new, for something good. For example, that researchers will come up with some new, even more effective cure for pollen allergies. In the meantime, while the scientists work on it, let's just take a look at all these memes and enjoy them. After all, spring is definitely a time for a good mood and no cold drizzle from the heavens could spoil it!
It's not that bad, but that's probably because it's when my birthday is.
Why capitalization was invented - "march" means a long walk, "March" signifies the month..
Yeah well we also all knew what op meant so I don’t see the problem

I always liked the term "bumbershoot", even though no one ever says it. Or maybe because no one around here ever says it.

Needed my thickest winter coat yesterday morning, and by the time I left work, no coat at all. 40 degree (F) jump.
In some ways, I am jealous. I live in Southern California where there's barely ANY weather ever XD sometimes we have a day of rain and everyone is like "OMG I FORGET HOW TO DRIVE!!"
Load More Replies...My hay fever starts when the daffodils come out and ends when the leaves fall off the trees. It’d be safer to just stay indoors if I wasn’t also allergic to dust and dust mites….
eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee i feel personally attacked but its true
I've always loved ponderosas (I'm almost certain that's the pine tree in the pic)
And then I get even more depressed because the sunlight shows how filthy my house is, but I don’t have the energy or motivation to clean it.
spring used to be my favorite season, but really starting to love the fall!!!
...most of us watch where we're going and don't TRIP over kittens...
Load More Replies...The idea of lying on the grass is lovely..but then you remember the reality of all the little bugs climbing on you, bleughk!
Also, you are laying on hundreds of very sharp things that will give you tiny cuts you can't see that will itch forever.
Load More Replies...Yup… Easter is tomorrow and it was colder than a witch’s titty this morning
And still parents are always like "go outside!"
Load More Replies...If it's warm and nice then I'm prepared for sudden ungodly amount of snow to fall
Um, Australia is almost the size of the U.S. with lots of different climates.
I have only ever been swooped by the plovers and never a magpie! But magpies do make contact with your skin, plovers just threaten it.
I've always wondered what it'd be like to have Easter in the fall and Halloween in the spring. Christmas in summer. I wonder if it's hard for people from the northern hemisphere when they move south of the equator, to get used to that.
What in the world are you trying to say?? I read it 5 times!!!
Load More Replies...I cannot find words adequate to explain how VERY much I do not want to see the words "suck" and "your feet" in the same solar system...
Don't kinkshame. Don't yuck someone else's yum. ;)

My favorite season (in Canada) is fall. Not too hot, not too cold and most of the bugs are dead. Can't escape the allergies though. Pollen in the spring and ragweed in the fall. Sadness.
I often feel like the last person on earth without a pollen allergy. Whatever happened to survival of the fittest lol
Cruel and unusual punishment there Nika .. hehe
Load More Replies...Late March in NC, USA - a little too cool for short sleeves, a little too warm for long sleeves, picking up sweet gum balls (I hate them,) wipe the sweaty pollen from your face, and getting bitten by a mosquito.
