In this meme, Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman, now working as a pizza boy on the side, arrives to deliver some tasty Italian dishes, proudly proclaiming, “It’s pizza time”: an iconic quote that has been used and abused by internet users. Usually, this meme gets used to make fun of a person's diet, company culture, or the fact that pizzas are too damn delicious.

In the animated series, one was an imposter, while the other was the real Spiderman. While the scene might have originated in the ‘60s, it only became a popular meme in the early 2010s. During the ‘10s and the following decade, the meme was picked up by 9gag and other social media members, catapulting this format straight to fame.
