Usually, if a birthday cake is themed, it’s simply decorated from the outside. Pedagiggle got a little more creative when baking a space cake for her son’s birthday…

Pedagiggle started by making different colored balls for the planets and baking them first. She then set them aside and stirred up the cake mixture. After baking the cake for around 10 minutes, she took it out to add the “planets” and baked it 20 minutes longer. Lastly, she decorated the cake with frosting! The result? A cake that’s not only space-y from the outside, but from the inside too! You can find the full instructions here.

This looks amazing, and I bet it tastes amazing, but I can't help but wonder what colors my mouth would turn with all that food coloring lol
