I don't think the OP actually did this by accident. They did this deliberately and are acting like it was an accident.This is exactly what a type of Agar art looks like. They use a technique called "bacteriography" involves selectively killing certain areas of a bacterial culture with radiation, in order to produce artistic patterns. After incubation, the culture is sealed with acrylic. Also, I have a degree in microbiology, and this type of growth is not found naturally, at all.

Clearly, the creator knew which molds grow what colors and shapes. Looks to me like the kind of thing a schoolteacher would have students do.

Breed/find mold to grow well on certain fuel and badly on others. Make your design and drop various mold spores along the lines.

You could probably get a similar culture if you swabbed your counter top a few days after you cleaned it. Bacteria is all over everything.

Ha! Try swabbing the bottoms of your bare feet, or your socks. Yikes!
