In 2008 Mom Told Son To “Sober Up” And Make His Own Christmas Cards, Son Delivers Every Year
These days you just can’t get away with sending a mall-bought Christmas card – everything has to be custom made and unique. Even if you follow the tradition of taking a family picture for each years’ greeting cards, it still has to be far from ordinary. This story is about these unique Christmas greetings that happened entirely by accident.
John Cessna was away for school during the 2008 holiday season, so his mother called to inform that he will be missing their family’s photo for season’s greetings. “She jokingly suggested I “sober up” and send out my own Christmas cards,” he said. Cessna took his mother’s advice and had been creating hilariously funny Christmas cards ever since.
“The Christmas spirit subject has since matured with me.” John steered the content away from the bottle, focusing more on absurdity and insidiousness. From brutal spiritual sacrifices to the infamous glory hole – Cessna is probably at the bottom of Santa’s “Good Boy” list. However, let’s hope that he keeps this funny card tradition alive in the future as well.

2015 is my favorite. Also, "Frosty and the Glory Hole" would be a great band name.
I liked the pills and coke! But, really I loved them all!
