I agree that it’s not ravioli, but it looks pretty tasty. Ravioli is traditionally square, and these could be more compared to pansotti which sometimes are circular shaped and pinked. Still look yum though! Source: Born in Rome, my entire family makes pasta. :)

Those are not ravioli, though... But I'm just a chef and of italian descent, so wtf do I know, right?

Nathan Jones

Also a chef of Italian descent, and here to confirm you're full of s**t. Ravioli is "usually" square. Not always. It can also be round, or mezzelune. Claiming you're an Italian chef carries no weight when you're making bullshit claims. Saying ravioli can only be square is as asinine as saying it can only be filled with cheese. My grandmother was born in Sicily and soent her entire life cooking Italian cuisine, and brought those skills with her to the U.S. where she made a living on it until she was 92 years old. In my entire life, she never made a square ravioli, they were always round. Still ravioli.

You can use the bottom of a springform pan, also. Lemon will not only kill the natural fish's flavor, but will also overcook it. If you like your fish lemon-ey, just add some zeste on top instead (grated lemon skin)

Great use of leftovers, but my favorite part of the broccoli is the stems. They're the sweetest and best tasting when roasted.

This needs explanation for the non-kitchen types. I’m guessing it’s a rather large amount of peeled garlic, pulsed in a food processor then loaded into a freezer bag, pressed flat, then divided by gently using the back of a chefs knife? Then you load it into the freezer where you can then break off a little tsp. sized square when you need one? As a former pro, I’m gonna tell you it’s ok to just use a garlic press…..

Better yet, do it in a mason jar. When you want to make the smoothie, run the jar under warm water for a few seconds to loosen the contents before dumping it in the blender. Then when the smoothie is blended, you can pour it back in the mason jar to drink it. No plastic waste.

Cast iron skillets are the best. Headlines advertising good ideas but without explanation are the worst. Salt, heat and oil (and a pinch of elbow grease) is another solution.

This would not work if you want to use 5 different spices and all of them are mixed with salt, you end up with salty food. Spices are a good alternative to salt.
