Humans are social beings and they can’t live without other people. That means we have all types of relationships: with family, friends, colleagues, neighbors, significant others. Some of them are inevitable even if you don’t particularly like the person. Some of them make you feel great and like you belong.
But it’s true that people can be unsure about how they feel being in relationships, especially romantic ones. You could possibly not even know what a good relationship means. Twitter user We’re Not Really Strangers shared 11 signs that, in their opinion, mean that a person is in a healthy relationship, so take a look and see if you agree with them.

This particular thread is a series of statements to ask yourself and check if they apply to your relationship. And if they do, according to We’re Not Really Strangers, you are in a healthy relationship. The statements are pretty universal and the bottom line is that you just have to feel good with the other person, so don’t stress if you couldn’t answer ‘yes’ to all of them. Everyone is different and everyone’s relationships are different.

We’re Not Really Strangers is a card game created by Koreen that should empower meaningful connections with other people. By playing the game and asking questions, you can deepen the connections you already have or you can make new ones.
The account on social media also focuses on relationships and feelings, giving advice about life, like “the big picture is more important than that isolated moment you’re obsessing over” and giving encouraging messages like this one: “you’re questioning yourself again. stop that.”
A healthy relationship doesn’t mean expecting your other half to love you blindly, no matter your actions

This Twitter user wants you to know that you should feel like you’re the best version of yourself when you’re with the other person

Most of these statements could be applied to any kind of relationship. Also, you could look at them from the other perspective and think about how your actions make other people feel. Relationships should be reciprocal and if someone is making you feel loved, gives you constructive criticism and lets you be yourself, you should try to let the other person experience the same.

I’ve been in unhealthy relationships before. Wonder what this is like?
“The only time you wonder where they are is because you miss them” Nah I wonder where they are because I’m not sure if they need food when they come home
I also wonder where they are to maybe ask if they could run by the supermarket because I forgot something. Or whether or not they are in a meeting so I can harass them about stupid stuff. Hehe. This whole pandemic working from home thing makes that a lot harder. I mean. We're both equally far from the supermarket....

Yeah, it does. My husband and I don't share the same humor and it makes me sad sometimes. His is mainly Star Wars, Star Trek, computer stuff. If I see something he would like I show him. But often I am alone laughing, then I stop because I can't share it with him. Doesn't mean it is a bad marriage or anything.

Even if you can't talk to them, you don't just storm out angry and not tell them anything, you feel like you can let them know " Hey I feel angry at you right now, I am going to go to the other room to cool down, I will let you know when I'm ready to talk so I don't blow up at you" or something like that
