Sibiu International Theatre Festival is an event that promotes excellence in the Performing Arts. The selection of the events that are part of the program is done by the recommendation of an artistic board, and one can take part in the Festival only by invitation.

For 10 days, at the beginning of summer, Sibiu becomes an enormous stage that opens a window to humanity in its most vibrant form. The 24th edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival will take place June 9 to 18 2017.

More than 3278 artists and special guests are expected in Sibiu to celebrate the 24th edition of the International Theater Festival. The festival establishes a meeting point that is unique in the world due to the diversity of the debated ideas and the energy of every representing country’s specific culture.
