If Your Toilet Paper Is Hanging "Under," You're Living In The Past. Switch It "Over" Like A Modern Human And Save Yourself From Frantic Fumbling

While this much-debated topic might seem like a personal preference, we can tell you "over" is more sanitary, because the paper is further from the wall. Also, the patent for toilet paper from 1891 shows the inventor intended for it to be hung "over." So there's that.

If you hang it under - that's ok. If you hang it over - that's ok. If you don't hang it at all - that's ok. Important is the useage, not the type of storing.

Tip: use some cleaning vinegar and water (generally a third to two thirds works for me) and put it in the reservoir for a while to dissolve calcium deposits. Then rinse a few times. You can also pump it trough if your iron supports it (don't turn it on). Also works great for electric kettles. Again, dont turn them on just leave some mildly warm water and vinegar in it for a few hours. Add enough vinegar until the calcium deposit starts bubbling like a soda and just wait. The warm water speeds up the reaction. Cold water works but takes longer.

Actually dont follow the i structions. The measurement cup/cap is actually a fib by the producer to get you go trough the detergent faster. You need far less for a clean fresh result. Experiment a little, but I find just a third cup is plenty for general washing. Just like you only need to use a pea size dot of toothpaste and not the luxurious swoosh from te commercial.

the amazon price is crazy - go to dollar general and get this product. it's great for pots/pans as stated or anything else that is greasy or too big to put in the sink. and, while you are at dollar general don't get the dawn brand dish soap. there is a generic called diamond that is just as good and lasts just as long as it isn't a watered down version. i have both on the sink and use accordingly.
